In 1958 André and Edgard Klat, two brothers who had a furniture business in Egypt, came to Lebanon and began making moderately priced style furniture in a small factory in Mkalles.
In 1961 Antoine Ajam and Wadid Zind joined the Klat brothers and decided to found a company. Regency was set on the path of becoming the company it is today.
n 1982 Wadid’s son Pierre, returning from Paris where he attended the “Beaux Arts” school, inherited the experience and passion of his family business.
In early 2017, Georges Dib, Roger Charles and Pierre Keserouani joined the Regency family bringing their own experience and sharing values in hand craftsmanship and superior execution.
